Writing
During the naturalization test, you will be asked to write a sentence dictated to you by USCIS staff. You will have three chances to write a sentence. In addition to this writing test, you will need to be able to perform other writing activities.

You will need to be able to:
  • Write to complete all USCIS forms
  • Write dictated sentences
  • Sign name
  • Print name
