Reading
You will need to be able to read one sentence that is in the form of a question, and you will have a choice of three sentences to read. You will need to be able to read other words and sentences during the naturalization interview, too.

You will need to be able to:
  • Read and comprehend all vocabulary and sentences on the N-400
  • Read and follow directions on all USCIS forms
  • Read civics items and answers
  • Read vocabulary and sentences on the reading test
